Together, we celebrated our community, honored extraordinary leaders, and reaffirmed our shared commitment to preserving Holocaust memory for generations to come. We were honored to recognize Leora Klein with the Legacy Impact Award and Mark Wladis and Steven Wladis with the L'dor V'dor Award for their leadership, dedication, and commitment to ensuring that the stories of Holocaust survivors continue to educate and inspire.

We were also thrilled to be joined by New York City Council Speaker Julie Menin, who reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to the safety of Jewish New Yorkers and her critical support of Holocaust education.
At a time when antisemitism is rising and Holocaust distortion and denial continue to spread, preserving firsthand testimony and educating future generations has never been more important. As we heard Tuesday evening, we’ve come so far, but our work is far from over. Donations to 3GNY ensure that these stories continue to be shared with students, and that the lessons of the Holocaust from our grandparents continue to inspire action, understanding, and resilience.
