Eric Feuer, a grandson of a Holocaust survivor, grew up listening to the stories of how his grandmother and great-grandmother fled Paris in 1942. When the pair was arrested in Southern France, Eric's grandmother ultimately escaped a concentration camp through the kindness of a stranger. A twenty-six year old woman from Indiana risked her own life to care for and hide Eric's grandmother and other Jewish children for the remainder of the war. We hope you'll join us to meet Eric and hear him tell this compelling story.
Eric became a 3GNY speaker through WEDU in 2019 to share his family's story and to highlight the importance of having empathy for a stranger in need. Eric lives in Manhattan with his wife and newborn daughter. He has a B.A. from Binghamton University and a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Eric currently works as a compliance officer at a global alternative asset manager.
